Skyview is truly a dream venue for those looking for deep communion with nature. Nestled amongst 23 lush acres of wilderness in the Santa Cruz mountains and surrounded by towering redwood trees, it is the perfect place to recharge and unwind. And, it’s only an hour’s drive from the San Jose airport.
At Skyview, we envision a world where everyone dances daily—a world in which every member of the human family freely expresses themselves while balancing care and responsibility for the whole. We will be outside in nature the entire weekend, dancing and doing SunDo under a giant redwood grove! This will be an outdoor weekend and you will be camping, so plan and prepare accordingly!
This retreat includes simple, mostly organic meals (vegetarian/gf options) which are provided with love and care to nourish your body. To encourage community building, everyone will be asked to work one cooking shift and one clean up shift during the retreat.
There are spaces to pitch a tent or car/van camp, as well as a large group tent available (no RVs or trailers allowed). There's a hot tub, two outdoor hot showers, and composting toilets.

Getting there can be challenging for some. The route is paved most of the way but the last mile is not paved and steep and narrow in some places. Any vehicle can make it if you drive very slowly.
